Our Mission

We aim to enrich children through play and socialisation while building strong, happy communities.

About

Inglewood Playgroup is located in the City of Stirling Inglewood Children’s Centre, across the town square from the Bob Daniel Community Centre and Inglewood Library. Inglewood Playgroup has been facilitating community involvement and child development for nearly 40 years.

The facilities were purpose built for the playgroup and include a large partially carpeted indoor space with a kitchen area and children’s toilets, and a secure outdoor area with a sandpit and playground.

Playgroup sessions usually include time for free play, an activity or craft, and morning or afternoon tea. Adults are responsible for supervising their children and for packing away and tidying the facility at the end of each session.

As a weekly occurrence during the school terms, the children and grown-ups often develop close friendships. Inglewood Playgroup also organise child-free social events and conduct fundraising activities when needed. Weekly groups use WhatsApp to communicate messages regarding attendance and activities.

In addition to our regular days, we also have unlisted sessions where a new parents group will choose to open their own session time. These have a minimum membership requirement and are not generally open to new members. If you are part of a new parents group looking for a place to meet that is central, close to delicious coffee and snacks, with comfortable facilities and plenty of toys, please get in touch to discuss if we can assist.
